The percentage of protein in one gram of amino acid depends on the specific amino acid because amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, and different amino acids have different molecular weights and compositions. However, if we consider the essential amino acids (EAAs) as a group, the percentage of protein in one gram of EAAs would be approximately 100%. This is because essential amino acids are those required for protein synthesis, and they are the components that make up proteins. So, in the context of essential amino acids, if you have 1 gram of EAAs, you essentially have 1 gram of protein, as all the essential amino acids are needed to form complete proteins.
