Mimosa Pudica, also known as the “sensitive plant” or “shy plant” is a perennial flowering plant related to legumes which is unique in that its leaves fold inward and droop when touched before reopening a few minutes later. Mimosa Pudica Extracts can vary in strength so the specific dosage recommended will depend on the strength of the extract being used and the purpose for which it is being taken.

For our 10:1 extract used as a supplement for digestive, intestinal, or immune system support we recommend a dosage of two 500 mg capsules per day for a total daily dose of 1000 mg. A more aggressive dose of between 2000 mg - 3000 mg per day can also be taken if desired, but its not recommended to exceed 3000 mg per day.

Mimosa Pudica Extract works best when taken on an empty stomach, ideally at least 1 hour before a meal.
