Potassium Iodide Supplement

Potassium Iodide is a salt made up of the minerals iodine and potassium. Because Potassium Iodide contains nonradioactive iodine it is often used during emergencies resulting in radiation exposure to block radioactive iodine from entering the thyroid gland.
