Description

Quercetin is a heavily researched bioflavonoid which is found naturally in many fruits and vegetables, although levels are highest in apples and onions. Our Quercetin includes 100 mg of Bromelain per capsule to help improve Quercetin’s absorption.

Quercetin is a potent antioxidant and is believed to help support healthy cholesterol and immune system health. Quercetin has also been shown to be a zinc ionophore, and when taken with Zinc it can help increase intracellular zinc levels.

We also have Quercetin in a great tasting gummy form with added Zinc!

Recommended Dosage

We recommend a dosage of 1000 - 2000 mg per day, or 2-4 capsules. As Quercetin is fat soluble, it is best taken with meals. We do not recommend exceeding 6 capsules per day.

Side Effects

Quercetin is very well studied and is non-toxic with few side effects when taken orally at normal doses. The only commonly reported side effects from oral use of Quercetin are headaches and tingling, and these are more common at high doses.

I have allergies and asthma. I heard that this combination of Quercetin with Bromelain was very effective in keeping allergy symptoms under control. This stuff works! I set myself up for auto-delivery so that I never run out. I've had less congestion and sneezing since I began taking this product. I highly recommend it.

Purchased as a proactive response to the upcoming winter, I want to be well armed with the antioxidant support Quercetin provides. In addition to that, Quercetin proposes to aid in purging senescent cells. Only time will tell as to its effectiveness.
